Please read these terms carefully before using our services
By using the services of Jah Ark Courier and Logistics Services, customers agree to the following terms:
1. Shipping & Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate names, addresses, telephone numbers, and shipment information.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs, weather, traffic, transportation delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for collecting their packages or ensuring that someone is available to receive them.
2. Customs & Charges
Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, clearance fees, or other government charges.
Additional charges may apply where incorrect package information, additional delivery attempts, storage, or other special services are required.
3. Prohibited Items
Jah Ark will not knowingly accept illegal, hazardous, explosive, flammable, or otherwise prohibited items. Customers are responsible for declaring the contents of their packages accurately.
4. Packaging
Customers are responsible for ensuring that items are properly and securely packaged. Jah Ark reserves the right to refuse improperly packaged items.
5. Storage Fees
Packages that remain at the Jah Ark office for more than seven (7) days after the customer has been notified of their arrival will incur a storage fee of JMD $________ per day.
Storage fees must be paid before the package is released.
Packages that remain uncollected for an extended period may be returned to the sender or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
Customers should report missing, damaged, or incomplete packages as soon as possible after delivery or collection. Claims may require proof of shipment, value, payment, and photographs of the package and its contents.
7. Payments & Refunds
Shipping and other applicable charges must be paid as agreed. Refunds, where applicable, will be handled according to the service provided and applicable Jamaican law.
8. Customer Information
Customer information will be used as reasonably necessary to process shipments, make deliveries, communicate with customers, process payments, and comply with legal requirements.
9. Agreement
By booking or using our services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
